We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Kardinya Primary School (KPS) is proud to work in partnership with our local community to educate and develop the children of Kardinya into the good citizens of tomorrow. First established in 1977 and officially opened in 1979, we cater for diverse needs from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Role
KPS is offering an opportunity for passionate and committed teachers to join our vibrant teaching team and contribute to delivering a high standard of education. The position would initially be for Semester 2 of this year, with the possibility of extension into 2026. Experience gained may lead to a permanent position. Applicants should contribute to a safe, positive, and instructionally driven school culture, and create an engaging classroom environment tailored to meet the diverse needs of every student. Strong relational skills, particularly with students and colleagues, are important.
We are ideally looking for a teacher who displays the following:
* A commitment to high-impact, evidence-based pedagogy and knowledge of contemporary whole-school practices suitable for any primary classroom.
* A collaborative mindset and experience with the full teaching, learning, and assessment cycle in partnership with colleagues.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills that support a positive and respectful school culture.
* Confidence in using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to enhance teaching and communication.
While prior experience with the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model is not required, understanding or willingness to engage with whole-school behaviour frameworks will be highly regarded.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
* Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
* Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start
