FINR Advisory is a Melbourne-based advisory firm offering end‑to‑end services in finance, property strategy, and buyer's advocacy. We guide clients through the entire property buying journey – from financial preparation to strategy, sourcing, and purchase – helping them make smarter property decisions with confidence.
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and results‑driven Buyer's Agent to join our team in Melbourne. In this client‑facing, on‑the‑ground role, you'll be responsible for identifying and securing high‑quality property opportunities – many of which will be off‑market or pre‑market.
You'll be managing relationships with real estate agents, inspecting properties, negotiating directly with selling agents, and bidding at auctions on behalf of clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on fast decision‑making, enjoys negotiation, and knows how to work a deal to get results.
Key Responsibilities
* Agent Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong networks with Melbourne‑based real estate agents to consistently access off‑market and early listings.
* Property Sourcing
Identify, assess, conduct due diligence and shortlist properties that meet the strategic needs of both homeowner and investor clients.
* Property Inspections
Attend open homes and private inspections across Melbourne, providing in‑depth feedback on suitability, risks, and value.
* Lead Negotiations
Negotiate directly with sales agents to secure properties at the right price and terms.
* Auction Bidding
Represent clients at auctions, developing and executing bidding strategies to secure competitive outcomes.
* Client Brief Alignment
Ensure every property sourced aligns with the client's goals, brief, budget, and risk appetite.
* Market Intelligence
Stay across local property trends, suburb data, and price movements to help identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in buyer's advocacy, property sourcing, property development or property management
* Proven negotiation skills and confidence in auction environments
* Strong knowledge of Melbourne's property market
* Excellent communication, time management, and relationship‑building skills
* Able to work autonomously across multiple briefs with structure and discipline
* Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
What We Offer
* $80,000 – $90,000 base salary + Super + Commission
* Support from a high‑performing team across finance and property
* Ongoing training and career development opportunities
* Autonomy in a dynamic, fast‑paced, and meaningful role
