About the role
We are seeking a Casual or Part-Time Support Worker to join EquipMe Pty Ltd in the Perth Metro area, Western Australia.
This is a flexible, casual or part time position supporting individuals with disability needs in the local community.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life, with a strong focus on community engagement.
We're specifically looking for staff to work in Mandurah, Wellard and NOR
What you'll be doing
- Providing respectful personal care and support to clients in their homes or the community
- Assisting with daily living activities such as light housekeeping, being involved in physical exercise and client transportation
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities and outings to promote social inclusion
- Collaborating with other care professionals by request
- Documenting client progress notes via the TeamUp app
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
What we're looking for
- A genuine passion for supporting people in the community
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Empathy, patience, and a caring approach
- Current First Aid certification and National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, Driver's License, suitable (registered) vehicle, NDIS clearance
