Our organisation is seeking an experienced Mechanical Operations Manager to lead a team of skilled technicians in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery. You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient completion of rebuilds and repairs across our fleet of Caterpillar machines, with a focus on extending the life of these assets and improving productivity.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of a team of up to 10 technicians
* Manage and prioritise high-volume work to meet organisational objectives
* Promote a culture of high safety standards and continuous improvement
* Develop and implement effective training programs for team members
* Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle mechanics, with experience leading teams and managing complex projects. They should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
