As our full-time Monday to Friday
Office & Accounts Manager,
you'll play a key part in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll be handling everything from overseeing our finances to helping shape the future of the club. We are embarking on some exciting changes in which you will play a key role such as implementing Xero Software, Tanda for Payroll, Lightyear for Invoicing and eBet for our membership database. Here's a sneak peek at what you'll be working on:
This is a varied role that will see you responsible for a range of tasks looking after our accounts, payroll and general bookkeeping. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Accounts Payable & Receivable (Lightyear)
* Preparing accounts for end-of-month (XERO),
* Data Entry & Invoicing
* Daily Banking and Reconciliations
* Some general Administration and office duties
* Weekly payroll (Tanda software) including Modern Award and NES compliance
To be successful in this role you will;
* Be accounts focused with experience in bookkeeping / accounting – experience with Payroll is also an advantage
* Demonstrate strong computer literacy skills and familiarity with relevant software or similar.
* Have fast & accurate data entry skills
* Have a high level of attention to detail
* Be an excellent communicator with a professional and personable manner
* Be able to work autonomously, as well as part of a team

Previous experience in the Club Industry would be desirable, however not essential, as Industry relevant training can be provided to the successful applicant with a handover on offer by the outgoing Accounts Manager.
