They will possess a proactive attitude, be available for various shifts, and hold a Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum).
Key Responsibilities
Personalized Support
• Assist clients with daily living tasks such as personal care and hygiene
• Manage medications according to established protocols
• Perform manual handling tasks as required
Client Empowerment
• Support clients in making informed decisions about their care
• Help clients develop skills essential for independence
Relationship Building
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients
• Foster a culture of trust and empathy within the workplace
Requirements
Essential Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience in disability support or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
Desirable Qualifications
• Cert III or higher in Disability Support
• First Aid certification
