Job Description
As a senior financial professional, you will provide strategic financial support to inform organisational strategy and decision-making. You will also be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
* Strategic Financial Support: Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to inform business strategy and decision-making.
* Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
* Budgeting & Forecasting Expertise: Support the development of annual budgets, prepare forecasts, and monitor performance against targets.
* Audit & Risk Management: Knowledge of audit processes, internal controls, and risk mitigation strategies is essential.
* Process Improvement & Collaboration: Enhance financial systems and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive process improvement.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or Accountancy.
* Current membership with CAANZ or CPA, or eligibility to obtain membership.
* Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
* Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
* High integrity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
