Qualifications and Experience Required
* Minimum 6 years of insolvency experience.
* Property and construction experience preferred, but not essential.
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics.
* CA/CPA qualified and willing to complete ARITA course (if not completed).
* Clear written and verbal communications skills.
* Commercial attitude to problem solving, negotiation and timely decisions.
* Motivated and efficient with an ability to take ownership of assigned matters and coordinate multiple work streams.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Part of the senior management team for business management and growth strategy.
* Workflow will generally include:
* Manage distressed property and development matters.
* Detailed financial modelling, forecast cashflow and feasibility analysis.
* Identify, analyse and implement strategic and creative options to maximise property realisations and outcomes across a range of distressed property types and locations.
* Coordinate lawyers, sales agents, builders, and other consultants to deliver target outcomes.
* Prepare reports for and engage with clients and creditors.
* Oversee statutory insolvency processes and procedures to mitigate risks.
* Staff management: mentor and develop staff and ensure achievement of required deadlines and quality expectations across multiple workstreams.
* Marketing: identify, formulate and support marketing efforts for existing clients and to secure new clients.
* Growing team with collaborative working environment that encourages development of skills, service lines and clients.
