Based in Western Australia, this permanent Finance Manager role sits within our Communities finance team as a key business partner to the state portfolio.
You will provide clear financial insights, challenge and advice that support strategic decision making and help create thriving communities our residents are proud to call home.
A commercially focused Finance Manager who enjoys partnering with the business, turning data into meaningful insights and influencing performance across our Communities projects in Western Australia.
What You'll Do
* Act as the key finance partner to the WA Communities leadership team, providing insights on performance, risks, opportunities and trends.
* Support analysis of project and portfolio performance, ensuring financial risks are identified, communicated and mitigated while highlighting value creation opportunities.
* Contribute to capital requests, investment proposals and growth initiatives by preparing and reviewing financial models, assumptions and recommendations.
* Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts and regular reporting for the Business Unit, drawing out clear insights that support decisions.
* Champion continuous improvement in finance processes, reporting and systems to drive accuracy, simplicity and timeliness across the state.
* Collaborate with teams such as Reporting and Analysis, Corporate Reporting and Control and Finance Services to support delivery of the Communities strategy.
About You
You are a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with the business, not just the numbers. You are looking for a role where you can influence decisions, improve ways of working and see the impact of your work across live communities in Western Australia.
Experience & Skills That Count
* Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, commerce or a related discipline, with CA or CPA preferred.
* Experience in commercial management, financial or management accounting, forecasting and analysis in a similar role.
* Demonstrated background in business partnering, supporting leaders with budgeting, planning and performance insights.
* Strong skills in financial modelling, analysis and reporting, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
* Proven ability to build trusting relationships and productive networks across an organisation.
