What this role involves:
1. Appearing in local courts and tribunals as required
2. Research and legal advice provision
3. Handling property matters, including leasing and licensing, drafting, and negotiating lease agreements
4. Briefing external law firms and experts
5. Managing responses to subpoenas
6. Working under supervision of the Corporate Lawyer
What we seek in a candidate:
* Valuing strong relationships and contributing to a positive team culture
* Admission as a solicitor in NSW
* 3-5 years' post-admission law experience, preferably with local or state government exposure
* Advanced legal research skills and concise advice delivery
* Experience advising on property transactions, drafting, and negotiating leases
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Motivated, capable of working independently and in teams
* Some advocacy experience in courts or tribunals
