* Commitment to Standards: Ensure laboratory performance aligns with all external accreditations while upholding the expectations of our clinicians and stakeholders
* Quality & Workflow: Maintain superior quality standards and streamlined operations through rigorous policy design, document control, integration and the communication of laboratory standards
* Resource Management: Oversee inventory control, procurement, equipment maintenance and servicing schedules
* Safety & Standards: Maintain a compliant workplace by aligning daily operations with state and federal WHS regulations
Essential Technical Skills and Experience:
* Histology Expertise: Extensive experience in a NATA accredited histology laboratory setting
* Dissection: Advanced skills in simple and complex specimen dissection
* Technical Processing: High-level proficiency in embedding and sectioning
* Staining & IHC: Proven knowledge of special stains and immunohistochemistry
Qualifications:
* Hold an AIMS Accredited Medical Laboratory Science Degree
