About The Role

Operating within the Global Portfolio, the Senior Manager, Strategy and Planning partners closely with the Pro Vice‐Chancellor Global (PVC Global) to shape, integrate and enable the strategic direction of the Global Portfolio. The role contributes to the development and integration of the Global Portfolio's strategic direction, ensuring alignment to Vision 2033, the Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and institutional priorities. It shapes the forward agenda for Global through structured planning, prioritisation and clear sequencing of initiatives. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the position works across faculties and professional portfolios to integrate global priorities into institutional planning and decision‐making. The role provides strategic insight, options and advice to support executive judgement, investment decisions and risk management in a complex and evolving higher education environment. The emphasis of the role is on strategy, portfolio optimisation and executive advisory. While informed by evidence and performance data, the role's primary focus is shaping direction, enabling informed choices and strengthening delivery discipline across the portfolio.

What We Offer
* The University pursues an excellence agenda and offers an environment where staff are welcomed and safe, and valued through development, participation and involvement.
* Total remuneration valued to $160,162 – $170,900 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $135,360 – $144,538 (pro rata) pa (HEW 9), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed‐term staff.
* Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
