About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Kerr Engineering as a Project Manager, overseeing the delivery of projects within the steel fabrication and machining divisions. In this full‐time, office‐based role located in Henderson, WA, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful execution of projects to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
* Lead and manage all aspects of assigned projects from inception to completion
* Develop and monitor project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure on‐time and on‐budget delivery
* Coordinate and collaborate with cross‐functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance
* Identify and mitigate risks, and implement effective solutions to address issues that arise
* Provide regular progress updates and reporting to project stakeholders
* Continuously seek opportunities to improve project management processes and drive operational efficiencies
What we're looking for
* 2+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on steel fabrication and/or machining projects
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within the engineering or manufacturing sectors
* Strong technical understanding of steel fabrication and machining processes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
* Proficient in the use of project management software and tools
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
