Clinical Nurse Educator (CVIS)
Location: Mount Hospital, inner city.
Part time / full time permanent role in a cutting-edge Cardiac Catheter Laboratories and a true Hybrid Theatre delivering advanced Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology and Vascular procedures, powered by our premier Structural Heart Program.
Lead and teach in a central city location with low-cost parking.
Selection Criteria
Minimum of 3 years cardiac and vascular interventional services experience.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Experience in designing, coordinating and facilitating structured educational programmes that support the upskilling of nurses from novice to expert levels in CVIS specialties.
Demonstrated involvement in audit and quality improvement initiatives, including the ability to identify areas for enhancement, implement evidence-based changes and evaluate outcomes to improve patient care and service delivery.
Ability to effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams, patients and stakeholders, with a strong focus on collaboration and relationship-building.
Ability to objectively evaluate and assess learning needs and outcomes.
Ability to deliver hands-on practical education.
Ability to undertake education presentations.
Desirable Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualifications in cardiac nursing or commitment to obtaining same.
Certificate IV in workplace assessment and training.
Ability to use simulation modalities to enhance training delivery.
