About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and organised Video & Photo Editor to join our post-production team. This is a permanent part-time role, working 4 days per week; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
As our new editor, you’ll support the production team in the post-production phase across a variety of client projects. You'll be working closely with the Post-Production Lead and the Lead Co-ordinator, contributing to edits for corporate communications, social media, online courses, event coverage and more.
You will be working from our centrally located South Melbourne office with a wonderful community of like-minded people, along with great amenities such as end of trip for riding into work, gym, community lunches and events, quiet rooms and collaborative meeting spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit a variety of video content including interviews, event highlights, promotional clips and educational content
- Perform light retouching and processing of still images as needed
- Work with supplied brand assets to add titles, logos, and other motion graphics (where applicable)
- Organise and manage media files within our post-production workflow
- Collaborate with the Post-Production Lead to deliver content that meets client expectations and deadlines
- Make revisions based on internal and client feedback
- Ensure final deliverables are correctly exported, formatted and shared
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of skilled experience in video editing
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (essential)
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects (essential)
- Good photo editing/retouching skills (Lightroom and Photoshop)
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A collaborative mindset, comfortable taking direction, asking questions, and contributing ideas
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience in the education or corporate sector is a bonus
