Support Specialist
We work in partnership with individuals and families who require tailored support services due to disability, ageing or mental ill-health.
We are seeking Support Specialists to enable customers to remain living in their own homes and stay connected to their community.
This role includes:
* Providing person-centered support tailored to individual needs
* Assisting with daily living activities and community engagement
* Carrying out manual tasks such as hoisting
* Ensuring safe and effective support for customers with dysphagia and cerebral palsy
* Maintaining regular communication and engagement with the local team
Requirements:
* A valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
* A current NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain one
* The ability to facilitate individuals to develop and sustain their social connections and relationships
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
* The ability to assist with physical tasks and provide mobility support as needed
* A willingness to perform high care support, including bowel care
