About The Opportunity
We are seeking multiple Labourers to join our Civil operations team. These hands‐on roles support the delivery of Council's road, drainage, and civil maintenance works that keep our community safe and connected.
Responsibilities
You will perform a variety of general labouring and operational tasks under general supervision, operate light mechanical plant and tools, and contribute to maintaining clean, safe, and efficient work sites. These roles play an important part in ensuring Council's civil infrastructure is delivered to a high standard.
About You
* Relevant experience and/or on‐the‐job training appropriate to the work area.
* Demonstrated ability to safely perform physical labouring tasks.
* Understanding of basic workplace safety and manual handling practices.
* Current Driver's Licence (C Class).
* Possession of a Construction Induction (White/Blue) Card.
* Basic competencies or tickets for the operation of light mechanical plant and hand tools (e.g., roller, sweeper or similar small/light plant and whipper snipper, jackhammer, etc.) in accordance with the award classification definitions.
Desirable
* Class 'LR', 'MR' or 'HR' Drivers Licence.
* First Aid and CPR Certification.
* Traffic Control Accreditation.
