Our client is a well-established funds management firm that offers a wide range of investment opportunities to both high-net-worth individuals and retail investors.

Reporting to Chief Lending Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, precise, and timely execution of all lending operations within the commercial loan portfolio. This position oversees the complete loan lifecycle - from credit submission through settlement, funding, and SPDS issuance - while providing team leadership and driving process improvements to enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and mentor Commercial Loan Officers, establishing clear accountability for quality, workflow, and deadlines; Oversee the entire loan execution process - from credit submission, due diligence, and documentation to settlement and post-settlement monitoring; Provide guidance on complex lending matters and serve as the primary escalation point for operational challenges; Direct the effective allocation of workload and resources to align with business priorities and investor timelines; Track and assess performance metrics, quality standards, and output consistency, hold regular performance reviews and foster capability development; Coordinate the full loan process from initiation to completion and supervise refinancing activities; direct and approve daily drawdowns; Manage loans throughout their lifecycle, ensuring all documentation, conditions precedent, and settlement obligations are executed to the highest standard; Supervise and authorize refinancing transactions, guaranteeing consistency with approved terms and operational preparedness; Supervise the preparation and issuance of all SPDS documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency with approved loan terms; Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to confirm that all SPDS materials adhere to regulatory and disclosure requirements; Enhance the presentation of SPDS documents so they also act as effective marketing tools for investors; Serve as the primary liaison to the investment team, offering expert guidance on loan structures, risk factors, and overall portfolio performance; Address inquiries from investors, advisers, and committees with clear, well-supported analysis and data-driven insights; Deliver timely lending updates and insights to stakeholders, oversee accurate and prompt funding reports, and maintain precise recordkeeping and reporting throughout the loan lifecycle.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or Property Valuation; 6+ years’ experience in Real Estate Finance within Private Credit (preferred), Commercial Banking, or Non-Bank Lending; Experience leading and developing small specialist teams in a lending or credit environment; Expertise in advanced credit analysis, loan structuring, and financial modeling; Comprehensive knowledge of real estate markets, development feasibility, and key property risk drivers; Ability to independently evaluate and articulate property and market risks, including cash flow viability, market dynamics, asset quality, and borrower strength; Consistently adds value to loan approvals by combining analytical rigor with practical commercial perspective; Strong communication skills, able to present complex information with clarity through speech and writing.
