About the Role
The School seeks to appoint a Lecturer to develop and deliver subjects into the Software Engineering Discipline and the Sydney Smart Technology College Programme. Primarily, the successful applicant will support research and teaching into the software engineering subjects such as Software Analysis Studio, Software Architecture, Secure Programming and Penetration Testing. Candidate should have the ability to learn and adapt to changing software engineering profession and discipline needs as per student and industry requirements.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will have demonstrated knowledge in modern software engineering topics, tools and techniques including software development, software analysis, software architecture and secure programming and penetration testing. You will also have prior experience teaching into the discipline and have outstanding research experience in related field. Other requirements include:
* A PhD in Computer Science/IT or related discipline
* Ability to contribute to curriculum development
* Demonstrated expertise with Industry Engagement and research capability to conduct impactful research
* Demonstrated capacity to supervise research students
Base Salary Range: $125,240 - $148,229 (Level B)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
