As a valued KEY member in their winning Engineering team, led and headed up by one industry-leading multiple award-winning Patent Attorneys, you will delight in the challenge + stimulation + satisfaction of:
* applying your technical expertise + commercial acumen in advising / creating strategies to protect + enforce the patent rights of your blue-chip local / international clients.
* Key responsibilities include: drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the engineering and/or ICT fields, advising clients in relation to patent portfolio management, infringement and patentability issues & assisting in patent oppositions and/or patent litigation.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you :
* have a minimum 24 months' post-qualification experience (up to Senior Associate level) as a registered Australian / NZ patent attorney (or are an overseas qualified patent attorney currently nearing qualification in Australia / NZ);
* have a degree or higher qualifications (eg Masters / PhD) in mechanical engineering or similar;
* have strong analytical + technical skills / knowledge;
* have some hands-on experience in prosecuting / drafting patents (desirable);
* have outstanding communication, time management and people interaction skills;
