Providing Essential Care and Support to Individuals with Disabilities
As a dedicated support worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and assistance to individuals with disabilities. Your passion for making a positive impact will shine through in your daily interactions with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
* Facilitate daily personal care tasks, including hoisting, slide sheets, and transfers
* Support clients with diabetes management, wound care, and catheter care
* Provide emotional support and companionship while maintaining professional boundaries
* Transport clients to appointments and provide support during visits
Requirements:
* Current NDIS Worker Screening and WWCC, or willingness to obtain
* New Worker NDIS Induction Module
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Current Driver's License and reliable vehicle
* Skill in using Shiftcare, Microsoft Office suite of programs, and other computer systems for record-keeping
