The Opportunity
Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN) - Dual role position
Who we want:
Ideal for a nurse wanting a great, stable work-life balance. Stable work hours from 9 AM - 2 to 3 PM on Monday to Friday (3-4 days possible). We are looking for someone passionate about providing in-clinic surgical care across all areas of general practice and private surgeries (from infant to adult circumcision to skin cancer excision support); and has prior experience in meeting targets and patient health goals via GPCCMP plans and Health Assessments.

Role type 1: Office-based surgical procedures
This role will start during a maternity health cover for April to July 2026; after which you will transition back fully to a chronic disease practice nurse role, while still providing some support in surgery if needed.
We specialise in surgical procedures related to men's health and infant care.

* Surgical assisting in men's health surgery, post-operative wound care, and counselling.
Role type 2: Chronic disease management and general practice nurse
This role starts immediately.
We have four GPs heavily engaged in care plans and managing chronic diseases. We need a nurse who can support and align with their goals for patient care.
* Supporting GPs in iron infusion, wound care, immunisations, and other procedures offered by the clinic.
* Highly experienced in creating GPCCMP, Health Assessments, Heart Health Checks via good patient health data collection.
* Must be able to hit target KPIs for the clinic.
About you
* Must love neonates, infants and children
* Must feel confident working in the area of male circumcision surgery for all ages.
* Must have completed medication administration education, thus able to administer medicines;
* We are looking for a nurse with long-term goals in general practice and a passion for practice in-clinic surgical nursing and chronic care plans;
* You will be caring, compassionate and empathetic in your approach to patients;
* Experience in Medical Director, PracSoft and BestPractice software is advantageous
* You are skilled at remaining calm in highly tense situations and can resolve matters pragmatically;
* You are looking for work-life balance;
* Rights to practice nursing in Australia (AHPRA registered)
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to, and with the support of, the Practice Manager and Practice Principal, you will be a vital member of the team in contributing to the success of the Practice, with key responsibilities entailing;
* Surgical assisting;
* Wound Management;
* Immunisations;
* Procedures;
* Health Assessment and GPCCMPs (meeting targets are essential);
* Treatment Room & Stock Management;
* Triage – over the phone and in person;
* Infection Control;
* Reception and Admin Duties.
The successful candidate will be part of a detailed 2-week induction and training program to equip you with all the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in your new and exciting role.
You must provide full working rights and a current Working with Children Check or apply for one before commencing employment.
