Your Team
Large matrix-managed test team that encompasses testing for Hollard business, agency partners, and software vendors. The team is responsible for the testing of processes and systems to support agency partners manage their Insurance portfolios across the quote, policy and claims functions.
Your Role
As a Test Analyst – Data, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the solutions being delivered. You will undertake the traditional role of a test analyst, however with demonstrable experience as follows.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
Working with stakeholders and the Technology team to facilitate the delivery of desired business outcomes in either a small (scrum) team or in a larger project environment
Analyse requirements and acceptance criteria to formulate manual and/or automated test cases that clearly test the expected outcome of new features and/or changes in agile driven development
Identify and coordinate the preparation of data and environments required to support testing outcomes
Execute functional system, system integration, end-to-end and regression manual and/or automated test cases for updates and changes to processes and systems
Analysing and testing of data mappings and processing rules from Hollard Policy Administration System(s) and Claims Administration System(s) to Data Platform(s) and downstream systems including Finance
Drive continuous improvement: Help development teams and projects with feedback on testing practices in the post implementation reviews and sprint retrospectives
Your knowledge and experience
Experience with creating test plans, progress, and completion reports with automation test tools
Strong understanding of data structures and how these are used and manipulated to produce output to solve business problems.
Strong background in Insurance (General, Life, or Reinsurance) or Finance domain.
Experience working within Data and Finance projects with a strong understanding of finance operating environment and their data requirements desirable.
Hands on experience modelling for ODS data lakes, data warehouse, data marts, and enterprise big data platforms.
Strong SQL skills and an ability to interrogate data
