Job Title: Culinary Expert
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Culinary Expert to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cuisine and catering services that meet the specific needs of our residents.
Responsibilities
* Food Preparation and Presentation: Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals that meet the needs of residents based on our standard menu.
* Kitchen Management: Ensure all food service activities are completed in accordance with our Food Safety Plan (FSP) and Bolton Clarke's catering policy within approved budget.
* Stock Control and Purchasing: Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, stock control, and continuous improvement activities while ensuring purchasing and ordering of all stock and equipment is according to our preferred supplier listing and nominated ordering system.
Requirements
* Certification and Experience: Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management is essential, along with at least 1 year previous experience as a Chef in Aged Care.
* Skills and Qualifications: Flexibility & commitment to work extra hours is required; knowledge of good hygiene practices; positive attitude with a willingness to learn; professional presentation.
