About the role
We are seeking an experienced Greenkeeper/ Groundsman to join our close-knit team at the Federal Golf Club in Red Hill, ACT.
This full-time position is responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course and surrounding grounds to the highest standard.
As a key member of our grounds crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring our members and visitors enjoy an exceptional golfing experience.
What you'll be doing
Mowing, edging and maintaining the golf course, including fairways, greens and tees
Performing various turf management tasks such as aerating, topdressing, overseeding and fertilising
Operating and maintaining grounds equipment and machinery
Assisting with landscaping, gardening and general grounds maintenance
Ensuring safe work practices and compliance with relevant regulations
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Greenkeeper or Groundsman, preferably in a golf course setting
Strong knowledge of turf management techniques and best practices
Proficiency in the use and maintenance of grounds equipment and machinery
Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
A passion for delivering high standards of presentation and customer service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A current driver's licence and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
