Job Title: Training and Competency Advisor
Our organisation is seeking an experienced Training and Competency Advisor to play a key role in maintaining operational readiness.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing worker capabilities, managing training records, and supporting a strong safety culture across the site.
* This involves identifying, planning, and coordinating internal and external training programs to address site competency requirements through stakeholder engagement and requirements of the site Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in mining, resources, or heavy industry, strong knowledge of adult learning principles, excellent communication skills, and high attention to detail with a commitment to safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, record, report, and advise on all aspects of site training as outlined in the site Training and Governance Framework.
2. Identify, plan, and coordinate internal and external training programs to address site competency requirements.
The Training and Competency Advisor will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that all training programs are aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives. They will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and be able to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of workers at all levels.
