About The Role
Days of Working: Monday to Friday – various shifts between 07:00am and 18:45pm
You will be working a minimum of 40 hours per week, typically Monday - Friday, covering different shifts across a number of courts within a dedicated area around the home-base of this advertised location. There is no weekend or night work, but overtime on Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays may be available. Weekends paid at 1.5x for Saturdays, 2x for Sundays; weekday overtime outside normal court operating times is 1.5x.

This role is mobile, covering a geographic area defined by a radius around your base location. You must be able to travel to sites within your patch. Travel expenses and parking are reimbursed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, welcoming and guiding court users
- Monitor premises and visitors via CCTV and x-ray machines, use hand-held metal detectors, and conduct bag searches on arrival
- Patrol and secure access to buildings and satellite sites, maintain contact with the control room via hand-held radios
- Respond to panic alarm buttons in Judges\' rooms, courts and offices
- Record and report security incidents
Qualifications
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance (to be completed for successful candidate)
- SIA licence and relevant security experience
- UK driving licence may be required (location dependent)
- Strong people and customer service skills
- Good diligence and high standard of work
- Effective communication skills
