The Opportunity
We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Retail Project Coordinator to support the delivery of retail environment projects across Australia. Working closely with the Retail Project Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating the end-to-end execution of retail displays, store fit-outs, fixtures and ongoing maintenance projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in retail, shopfitting or project coordination who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the coordination of retail projects from initial scoping through to installation and completion
* Assist with shopfitting activities including site audits, tenders and cost analysis
* Track budgets, raise purchase orders and support financial reconciliation across projects
* Coordinate project schedules, timelines, resources and vendor communication
* Assist in managing design documentation, production timelines and installation planning
* Support defect management and ensure issues are tracked through to resolution
* Liaise with internal teams, clients and external suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
* Provide regular project reporting and updates to stakeholders
* Assist in coordinating trades on-site, ensuring quality, safety and timelines are maintained
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
* Previous experience in retail project coordination, shopfitting, production or design environments
* Understanding of retail environments and merchandising is highly regarded
* Strong organisational and planning skills with high attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Proactive, solutions-focused and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
* Tertiary qualification in Project Management or related discipline
* Experience with procurement, production or retail design
