Skillinvest is seeking an experienced Road Worker for a position with one of Victoria's leading providers in road maintenance, construction and civil works. Based in Donald, you'll be part of a supportive and dynamic crew, working outdoors and operating a range of tools and machinery to help maintain our road networks.
BENEFITS
* Casual (regular 38 hours/week)
* Base $37.26 per hour + overtime available
* PPE supplied & maintained annually
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* General Manual Labour
* Compacting, leveling, and spreading of materials
* Routine road maintenance and emergency response
* Truck driving and obstruction removal
* Use of power tools and machinery
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* Construction Induction White Card
* Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence
* Traffic Management Certificates (TC1/2& TMI1/2 at minimum)
* Demonstrated experience in road or civil works
* Physically fit and capable of manual labour
* Available for after-hours emergency call-outs
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Plant Operator Certificate
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Chainsaw and Polesaw Training
Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including a Medical Assessment, Drug and Alcohol Screening, Police Check and Driver History Check.
