Consultant Medical Oncologist | Tertiary Teaching Hospital | Adelaide
The Opportunity
We are working closely with a major tertiary teaching hospital in South Australia and are keen to connect with FRACP-qualified Medical Oncologists interested in full-time opportunities within an established and academically engaged Oncology service.
The department delivers comprehensive medical oncology care across inpatient and ambulatory settings, managing a broad solid tumour caseload within a structured multidisciplinary framework. Consultants are supported by strong governance, subspecialty collaboration and established training pathways.
This role will appeal to Oncologists seeking tertiary-level practice, academic involvement and long-term professional depth within a mature service.
The Hospital & Cancer Services
This is a large tertiary referral hospital affiliated with a major Australian university and embedded within an integrated academic health network.
The Oncology service provides:
• Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical oncology
• Dedicated chemotherapy day unit
• On-site Radiation Oncology within the broader campus network
• Multidisciplinary tumour board participation
• Close integration with Haematology, Surgery, Palliative Care and ICU
• Access to clinical trials and research collaboration
The hospital supports a significant metropolitan and regional catchment and functions as a key referral centre for complex malignancies.

Requirements
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Medical Oncology
• Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
• International Medical Graduates assessed by RACP as partially or substantially comparable
