What's the role?
As the Educational Leader, you'll play a key role in promoting positive outcomes for children and families by guiding and inspiring educators to continually improve their practice. You'll help build the capacity of the team through reflection, inquiry, and professional development.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Bring the Journey Values of connection, communication, and consideration to life in daily practice.
Ensure adherence to Journey's child secure policy and code of conduct.
Implement and uphold Journey Standards across the team.
Develop and monitor coaching plans for educators.
Oversee centre Storypark posts.
Contribute to the Centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
Role model, support, and reflect on best practices.
Engage with families and the community.
Lead professional conversations and participate in Lead Educator meetings.
We are committed to providing you with the tools, training, and support to succeed in this important role.
Who are you?
You are an experienced leader within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector with a strong understanding of compliance, team leadership and demonstrating exceeding levels of practice.
**Key skills and requirements**:
ACECQA Approved Diploma in Children's Services or bachelor's degree (Early Education) or, working towards
Current Working with Children Check
A demonstrated commitment to providing a safe, caring, non-judgemental and supportive environment for all children and their families
A demonstrated ability to adhere to and understand the ECA code of Ethics and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours while engaging with children
