We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Lecturer in Psychology and External Relationships Liaison.
This role involves collaborating with the Tasmanian Mental Health Community to shape the future mental health workforce, assisting in building placements for provisional psychologists, and contributing to the supervision of provisional psychologists during their placements.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Psychology or equivalent, current registration as a Psychologist in Australia, and experience in developing and implementing skills in scholarly and innovative approaches to University-level teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* To make an effective and sustained contribution to the University in achieving its strategic objectives and fulfilling its operational responsibilities.
* To work collaboratively with external partners to ensure students on placement are receiving appropriate training experiences.
* To develop new external relationships to grow the number of opportunities for Masters Students and psychological services for the Tasmanian community.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A PhD in Psychology or equivalent
* Current registration as a Psychologist in Australia
* Experience in developing and implementing skills in scholarly and innovative approaches to University-level teaching and learning
