The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Supervisor with a proven track record and ability to supervise telecommunication projects in a construction environment. Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to oversee field teams and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. A motor vehicle will be supplied as a Tool of Trade for business operational use only. Travel throughout New South Wales may be required.
Job Description
The Role:
As Supervisor, you oversee day‐to‐day site operations, leading field teams and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard of quality. You will work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate resources, manage site activities and ensure all works comply with safety, quality and contractual requirements.
In this role you will:
* Supervise site crews and subcontractors to ensure all works are completed safely, compliantly and to client specifications
* Coordinate daily site activities, including work planning, labour, plant, equipment and materials to meet project timelines
* Maintain a strong on‐site presence to monitor quality, prevent rework and promptly resolve issues as they arise
* Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements, conduct risk assessments and lead safety, health and wellbeing on site
* Manage variations and out‐of‐scope works in line with contractual processes and approvals
* Maintain accurate site records, diaries and documentation, and provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager
* Lead, mentor and support employees and contractors while taking accountability for performance, quality and delivery

You:
To be considered for this opportunity you will require:
* Considerable experience working in a telecommunication, asset relocation, construction or project environment
* Demonstrated experience working across Telstra and Optus networks (preferred)
* Experience in the frontline supervision of Contractors and staff
* Strong coordination and communication skills
* Proactiveness and initiative
* Strong safety culture
* Relevant Industry Accreditations and general construction induction (White Card)
