Role details The Mackay Base Hospital Hospital Finance Management Unit is seeking applications for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. Your opportunity This position provides efficient and effective Financial Accounting Services to clients serviced by the MHHS Finance Unit while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, approved policies and procedures and agreed System Support service and performance standards. About the Team Finance Management consists of Financial Accounting, including Revenue, Assets and Management Accounting. The team provides routine and ad-hoc information, analysis and advice for various stakeholders such as the Executive, service directors, business managers and clinicians. About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
