Your Daily Impact As a Residential Coordinator
Coordinate Resident Care: Design and implement outcomes-based care plans that align with individual resident goals, while ensuring access to essential services and upholding dignity, choice, and independence.Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with medical, clinical, and legal representatives to support coordinated, high-quality care delivery.Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all practices comply with MSWA policies, NDIS standards, and documentation requirements, maintaining high standards of client safety and care.Team Leadership: Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of care staff, fostering a capable and confident workforce.Employee Development: Promote continuous professional development through regular feedback, performance appraisals, and skill-building Oversight: Manage staff rosters, timesheets, leave, and resource allocation to ensure smooth day-to-day and Governance: Contribute to quality assurance, audits, clinical monitoring, and improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery.Collaborative Culture: Champion MSWA’s Core Values and foster a safe, respectful, and positive team environment aligned with WHS standards.
What We’re Looking For
NDIS Worker Screening CheckNDIS Orientation CertificateExperience managing an accommodation site with disability individuals.Demonstrated experience in assessment of needs and care planning.Effective communication skills.Experience in working with people with a disability and or neurological Clients.Experience in working in a team environment and as a manager.Sound computer literacy.
Our ‘nice to haves’
Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and its of the National Disability Standards, NDIS Practice Standards and the Quality and Safeguarding Framework and their application to service delivery.Experience with Crisis Management and Continuity PlansExperience managing a budget.Experience with or an understanding of change management.
