YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadand direct the Supply Chain Team (Planning/Purchasing/Warehouse &Distribution) for ANZ in line with the Global/Asia Pacific Supply Chainstrategy
Responsible for driving the development of the ANZ supply chain strategy andensuring the efficient operations of allsupply chain functions – both strategic and operational – for ANZ, by directingand implementing assets and processes within the Supply Chain function toachieve the short and long term financial and operating objectives of BrenntagANZ ensuring optimal service levels to customers and suppliers
Strategy andFunctional Management
1. Develop, communicate and execute the Supply Chain strategy for ANZ in close collaboration with Supply Chain Global/Asia Pacific and ANZ Commercial team.
2. Collaborating with Commercial, Finance and QSHE, develop procedures and processes that allow for optimal service levels to customers and suppliers
Planning, Purchasing andInwards Logistics
3. Own the Supply Chain processes including Planning, Purchasing, Shipping, Inventory Control, Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics for packaged and bulk products
4. Own and improve ANZs Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to optimise customer service levels and working capital using inventory control and forecasting best practice
5. Purchasing and Inbound Logistics – improve efficiencies and cost structure for ordering and importation of products
6. Recommend and manage stock levels, including safety stocks, lead times, delivery optimisation and distribution requirements planning (DRP) to ensure inventory is maintained at the optimum levels in the optimum locations
7. Implement and optimise Brenntag’s strategic sourcing strategy within the ANZ business
8. Optimiseand maintain information flow on shipments and incoming goods to ensurecustomers always have up-to-date information available
Warehousing & LocalLogistics
9. Lead and communicate the development of Warehousing & Delivery processes from arrival of goods into the warehouses to the delivery to customers
10. Enhance, identify and invest in value added services including physical and virtual receiving, checking, storing, sampling, toll manufacturing (repackaging, mixing and blending), picking, staging, inspecting, loading, routing, and delivery to support Commercial Customer Strategies
11. Manage and maintain efficient, cost effective, professional, on time deliveries to customer base
12. Drive the optimization of Brenntag warehouse and logistics operations, management of existing 3PL arrangements and assess current and future Warehousing and logistics needs, whether 3PL or insourced.
13. Optimization and management of Warehousing Contracts (Local and International) including undertaking negotiations as required > > drive evolution/partnership
Inventory Control
14. Ensure inventory control is maintained including cycle counts and reconciliations, SLOB stock process, disposals, etc
Adblue
15. Ensure AdBlue bulk deliveries and reconciliation process are optimised ongoing, all aspects of the delivery process are controlled, including scheduling, equipment, maintenance, logistics, etc
YOUR PROFILE
16. Tertiary qualified in relevant field (Supply Chain/ Operations / Logistics Management)
17. Minimum 8 years’ experience in Supply Chain or related field on a national / trans-tasman scale
18. Minimum 10 years’ experience managing large teams within Supply Chain
19. Prior experience in establishing insourced/outsourced Warehousing
20. Working knowledge and experience in distribution and/or logstics / freight forwarding essential
21. Evidenced ability to lead change, improve engagement and deliver results
22. Working knowledge and experience in the chemical industry advantageous
23. Workingknowledge and experience of reputable ERP systems including in-depthunderstanding of purchasing/planning/logistics and warehousing systems
