ABOUT THE ROLES
We are currently seeking applications for care workers to join us on a casual basis with the potential to transition to part time. Right at Home Sunshine Coast & Gympie have the following positions available.
Position 1 – Companion Carer
A Companion Carer will assist with domestic assistance (light housekeeping and gardening, meal preparation), social/community access and transportation.
Position 2 – Personal Carer
A Personal Carer will complete all listed above responsibilities of a Companion Carer + performing a range of nursing and personal care duties. These may include assisting a client in the shower/toileting or changing of continence aids etc.
To be successful in either position you will need to hold:
o Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent (mandatory for personal carers)
o National criminal history/police check
o Working with Children check
o First Aid and CPR qualification
o Personal vehicle with full comprehensive care insurance
LOCATIONS
We are looking for care workers that are available to travel or reside in the following locations:
o Sunshine Coast (all suburbs between Caloundra & Maroochydore)
o Sunshine Coast Hinterland
o Noosa, Tewantin and Cooroy
o Tin Can Bay & Cooloola Cove
o Gympie
