(HP5) * 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading * 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation * Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available About your opportunity The Advanced Pharamcist will actively promote quality use of medicines, medication safety principles, and the role of the DUE pharmacist within Townsville HHS and to work in partnership with DUE committee, health professionals and key stakeholders. They will provide specialist pharmaceutical advice in matters relating to Medication Utilisation Reviews to stakeholders in the Townsville HHS, being recognised as a resource for quality use of medicines and effective medication management. Requirements: * Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from a recognised tertiary institution and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). * Post-graduate qualifications in Pharmacy are recommended. * GCP certification and COVID-19 Commonwealth Vaccination training are desirable. * Rostered overtime and on-call are a requirement of this position. * Variable working hours potentially providing a 7-day extended hour's pharmacy service may be required. * This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role Please refer to the Role Description for further details.
