STAND-ALONE PAYROLL OFFICER - $******K S - WFH 2 DAYS, SYD OR NEWCASTLE
Join the award-winning and market leading engineering consultancy as a payroll specialist taking sole ownership of end-to-end payroll processes for approximately 300 employees.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will be valued and your ideas for improvement will be welcomed. Offices are located in Sydney (Macquarie Park) or Newcastle – all applicants from these locations are welcome.

About You / Job Requirements
5+ years' experience managing end-to-end payroll and confident in running the payroll department for 300+ employees.
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
Solid understanding of multi-state payroll requirements, awards, legislation and taxation.
Confidence in auditing and managing payroll and time-keeping systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with HR, Finance and other teams.
A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement.
