As a Lecturer in the Masters of Counselling, you will continuously improve the quality of education provided to students, maintain compliance with the Higher Education Standards Framework, and stay current with emerging teaching and counselling best practices.As a Lecturer for the Master of Counselling, you will be responsible for the ongoing development, improvement, and delivery of the program, ensuring a high-quality, student-centric experience. This is an Expression of Interest; you may also be considered for marking, support, or supervisory positions within the organization.Key Responsibilities include:Develop and conduct face-to-face teaching and student engagement sessions, along with learning materials.Create learning materials such as study guides, webinars, and assessment instructions for assigned subjects.Provide study assistance to students via face-to-face, LMS, phone, or email modes.Encourage student engagement in their studies.Mark student assessments in accordance with assessment and moderation policies.Identify at-risk students and liaise with them to establish individual learning plans as needed.Maintain subject sites on the Learning Management System.About YouMasters qualification or higher in counselling, psychology, or similar fields (PhD preferred).At least 3 years of postgraduate experience as a Counsellor, Psychologist, Therapist, or similar roles.Experience teaching at tertiary or vocational levels is preferred but not required.Passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation.Ability to coordinate and successfully deliver tertiary subjects.Eligible for membership of the Australian Counselling Association.Why work with usOpportunities for growth within the organization.$1,500 professional development allowance.Supportive, student-centric team of professionals.Flexibility to work from home during non-teaching hours (for academic staff).Be part of a fast-growing, agile organization.Part of UP Education, a leading education provider: https://www.up.education/Join the Acknowledge Education Team: Igniting Potential, Fostering Growth!Acknowledge Education is a leading training provider across Australia, offering courses in health, community services, social work, business, civil construction, and hospitality.
