Painter - scheck painting (innisfail)

Job Summary

We are looking for full time painters to join our team for the summer season, with work running from early May to late August. Jobs are primarily located in Innisfail, Red Deer and Olds with some jobs in the surrounding areas. No prior painting experience needed and all training is included with the job. Painters are responsible for the preparation of surfaces and the application of paint products, while ensuring a high quality finish. This job requires a high attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.

Location

Jobsites are located in Innisfail, Red Deer, Olds and the surrounding area.

Pay

Pay for this job is determined through piecework with starting wage at $18/hour. There will be opportunities to take on more responsibility with reflective pay increases.

Requirements

• Must have a drivers licence
• Must have a vehicle (or another way to get to jobsites)
• Must be good with working at heights of up to 30ft

Responsibilities

• Learn and implement painting materials provided by employer
• Perform work in a manner that follows safety guidelines
• Prepare both interior and exterior surfaces to be painted
• Application of paints and stains using brushes, rollers and spray guns
• Provide excellent customer service
