We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our dynamic team at Australian Car Audio Pty Ltd in Kilsyth, Victoria. This is a part-time role that offers the opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment. As our Book Keeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth running of our accounting processes.
Please note: This is an on-site role; remote work is not available.
What you'll be doing
* Reconciling bank accounts and managing accounts payable and receivable
* Weekly payroll ( processed on Monday )
* Assisting external Accountant with month-end and year-end closing processes
* Supporting the owners with general bookkeeping through XERO
* Debt collection on overdue accounts
* Handling your own emails and occasional phone calls
* General administrative duties and data Entry
We're looking for someone with:
* Full working rights in Australia
* Relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping, such as a Certificate IV in Accounting or equivalent (preferred)
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within the automotive or wholesale industry
* Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to financial record-keeping
* Proficiency in using Xero accounting software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
* A commitment to delivering high-quality work and a desire to contribute to the success of the organisation
