Due to continued growth and a large pipeline of projects, we are looking to add a new Senior Estimator to our Pre-contracts team. You will play a key role in pricing a range of civil infrastructure projects and ensuring our bids exceed our clients' expectations. Your responsibilities will include reviewing tender documentation, scope of works, and contract documentation, as well as preparing estimates for projects across Queensland and Northern NSW. You will be working within an experienced and supportive team culture at one of the best workplaces in Australia.
About You
To be considered, you must have site experience (Project Engineers, Project Managers are welcome to apply) in the Australian Civil Construction sector on subdivisions and infrastructure projects valued between $500k and $20M.
* Experience in pricing or delivering civil projects, ideally in subdivisions.
* Demonstrated ownership in previous roles.
* Proficient with industry-standard software and able to articulate construction methods clearly and concisely.
* Ability to identify risks and opportunities, and present alternative methodologies or solutions to achieve better project outcomes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with co-workers, management, clients, and sub-contractors.
* Experience in mentoring junior estimators.
