Your Purpose:
As a Clinical Nurse, you will work closely with the Residential Services Manager, Clinical Manager and Clinical Governance team to ensure high-quality clinical care for our consumers. You will provide direction and guidance to the clinical and care delivery teams, contributing to the overall wellbeing of residents and ensuring compliance with care standards and Sundale's policies.
What You'll Do:
* Clinical Leadership: Effectively lead and manage both clinical and care teams in collaboration with the Site Manager to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Quality Care: Deliver evidence-based, quality care to consumers through advanced nursing skills and knowledge.
* Health Monitoring: Actively monitor and address any deterioration in consumers' mental, cognitive, and physical health, ensuring timely interventions.
* Data Analysis: Collect, interpret, and analyse clinical data in collaboration with other health professionals.
* Documentation: Lead and monitor documentation relating to consumer care, supporting the AN-ACC funding model.
* Legislative Compliance: Assist the Site Manager in ensuring compliance with relevant care delivery legislation.
* Continuous Improvement: Promote Sundale's policies and procedures, contributing to the development of quality care practices.
What We're Looking For:
* Advanced clinical knowledge relevant to the aged care environment.
* Thorough working knowledge of AN-ACC and Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with effective communication both in written and verbal form.
* Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
* Resilient, with a positive outlook and passion for aged care services.
Essential Requirements:
* 2 to 3 years' leadership experience as a Clinical Nurse, preferably in an aged care setting
* Nursing registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
* Current CPR certificate
* Police Check
* Pre-employment medical assessment
