The Role Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will assist in managing the daily operations of the Geology Department to safely deliver the planned resources and reserves in tonnes and grade while ensuring geological data is accurately captured, interpreted, and incorporated into mine planning, including: Understand and act in accordance with the Company's Values, Code of Conduct, the Company Policies and meeting all relevant internal and external compliance Strong focus on geological interpretation and its incorporation into high quality JORC **** compliant grade control and resource models.
Develop strong skills in resource estimation and geostatistical analysis.
Supervise and train Mine Geologists, Graduate Geologists, and Technicians to perform daily tasks and perform Mine Geology duties as required.
Plan and manage grade control programs to delineate ore, including cost tracking and reporting results.
Add to Reserves and Resources through delineation, extension, and discovery by understanding regional and local controls on mineralisation.
Assist Senior Geologist in timely and accurate end-of-month geology claims, reporting, and reconciliation.
Act as the point of accountability for the Mine Geology department when no Senior Geologist is present.
Provide input on mining methods and schedules to optimise value, including blast monitoring and ore blocking for open pits, as well as sludge, wall, and face sampling techniques for underground mines.
Ensure that risks and opportunities are communicated in a timely manner.
Ensure timely and accurate collation of geological data (including QAQC) and reports.
Effectively communicate geological understanding to all departments and shareholders.
Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Any other duties as required by the Manager commensurate with the employee's skills, competence, and training.

About You We're looking for someone who brings: A Bachelor of Science in Geology or Geosciences.
4+ years' experience in mine geology, including at least 3 years' underground gold experience.
Strong experience with Archean greenstone and gold systems.
Proven ability in domain modelling, wireframing, estimation, and reconciliation.
Proficiency in Leapfrog and Micromine (essential).
Experience in the design and supervision of drilling, sampling, and QAQC programs.
MAusIMM or MAIG membership (or equivalent professional organisation).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A current West Australian C Class (manual) driver's licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance.
