Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Carbon Project Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the investigation, analysis, and communication of the performance of our environmental regeneration projects.
Responsibilities
* Analyze project data from multiple sources using statistical and analytical techniques to evaluate project performance
* Monitor ongoing project events, activities, and performance
* Create and validate project forecasts
* Manage project and portfolio reporting schedules and requirements
* Prepare comprehensive project reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate performance and guidance to stakeholders
* Identify and communicate opportunities or imperatives to improve project performance and outcomes
* Respond to and resolve triggered monitoring events
* Recommend priorities and activities for projects and portfolios
* Understand environmental markets methods and methodologies, with a focus on carbon methods
* Investigate and pursue opportunities to improve the quality, scalability, efficiency, and standardization of project analysis and reporting
Requirements
Key Skills
* Strong analytical and reasoning skills
* Understanding of statistical concepts, modeling, forecasting, hypothesis development, and testing
* Experience with data querying, cleaning, and wrangling techniques
* Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python for data querying, manipulation, and analysis
* Understanding and proficiency with GIS analytics tools
* Ability to think logically and devise effective solutions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
* Meticulous attention to detail when working with data
Experience and Education
A degree in a relevant field and experience in environmental markets is preferred.
