Position
Currently seeking an Emergency Physician to join the dynamic team in the Emergency Department. This position offers the opportunity to work with a cohesive, motivated, and innovative group of specialists, enjoying an attractive roster.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic and innovative practitioner, actively contributing to the ongoing organizational and clinical development of the Emergency Department. There will be a clear emphasis on staff development and optimizing ED performance.
Location
Situated in the largest center of Western Victoria, this city is also the fastest-growing inland city in the state. It earned the title of Australia's most livable city in 2020 and is renowned for its excellent educational institutions, fine dining establishments, and boutique shopping experiences. Its unique location provides easy access to Melbourne, Geelong, Bendigo, and the Western district, while also boasting remarkable heritage buildings and natural landscapes.
Hospital
The health service comprises several key facilities, including the Base Hospital with 221 acute beds, the Centre offering Sub Acute Care with 70 beds, and Psychiatric Services with 67 beds. The hospital features modern amenities such as a new short-stay unit, state-of-the-art emergency and critical care facilities, ambulatory services, aged care, and rehabilitation facilities. These services are seamlessly integrated to provide in-patient, ambulatory, community, and home-based care. It is also recognized as a major training site for the University of Melbourne and Deakin Clinical Schools.

Internationally qualified Specialists who have been assessed by ACEM as Substantially Comparable or NZ/UK ED Consultants looking to make a move.
