Waste Regulation is seeking a Regulatory Administration Officer to provide essential administrative support for the regulation of waste facilities and transporters (waste management businesses). You will work closely with Senior Compliance Officers and the Assistant Director, Compliance to ensure the accuracy and completeness of regulatory records. From 01 February 2026 some functions of Waste Regulation will shift to the Environment Protection Agency. You will provide supporting during this transition to ensure continuity of records and access for waste management businesses. Eligibility/Other Requirements: No regulation experience is necessary. Waste or environmental industry experience, including administration, customer service or weighbridge operations would be desirable. Experience with Outlook, Objective and Salesforce platforms (including bespoke waste systems such as Waste Service Management System) would be desirable. Visa holders are eligible to apply for both permanent and temporary roles. Those with eligible visas may be considered for permanent employment, while individuals with temporary residency or limited-duration visas may be offered permanent employment for the duration of their visas.
