Guest Services Representative Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Representative to join our team. As the face of our hotel, you will be responsible for greeting and welcoming guests while carrying out checking in and out of hotel guests.
This key role involves managing the switchboard and assisting with guest queries or requests. You will process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys. Additionally, you will answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in Front Office Operations or customer service is essential, as well as strong background in hospitality or customer service. Computer literacy in Microsoft office and previous experience in Opera PMS will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities:
* Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
* Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
* Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
* Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
* Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in Front Office Operations or customer service.
* Strong background in hospitality or customer service preferred.
* Computer Literate in Microsoft office with previous Experience in Opera PMS will be highly regarded.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
