Our Perth based operations is looking for a Storesperson/Driver who can be part of the team working together to ensure our smooth warehouse operations. In this varied role you will be responsible for the movement and maintaining of stock in and out of our warehouse.
For this varied role, previous warehouse experience will be essential. Given the team emphasis at Diversified you will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills. Computer skills are also necessary to be able to maintain our software package to track stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Catalogue or label items with storage details
- Incoming goods are receipted into tracking system
- Documenting delivery dockets of all goods coming in and out
- Place goods in bins and on racks, or stack bulky items on floors
- Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists
- Pick/pack and send out completed orders
- Obtain details of the location and quantity of items in stock
- Enter details of received delivery slips, requisitions and invoices into computers
- Pickups and deliveries of goods in company vehicle (where required)
- Purchasing and pickup of consumable items at wholesalers and delivery to site (where required)
- E-Waste deliveries and drop-offs to recycling depots
- Pickup of site refuse and equipment and deliver to workshop/recycling centre
- Keep store and loading bay neat and tidy
- Pickups and delivery of equipment to and from site where Driver is not available
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Storeperson / Driver or within warehouse environment
- Must hold or willing to obtain a current forklift licence
- Must hold a current valid manual Driver’s License
- Trained in manual handling is desirable
- Australian Citizenship is desirable to be able to attend Secure Agency sites
